Profile

Born in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, he began playing the piano at the age of four.

 

He graduated at the top of his class from the Department of Instrumental Music at Tokyo University of the Arts, where he received the Ataka Prize, the Klavier Prize of the University of the Arts, the Acanthus Music Prize, the Doseikai Prize, and the Mitsubishi Jisho Prize. He also received the Klavier Prize of the University of the Arts and the Acanthus Music Prize of the Graduate School of the University of the Arts when he completed his master's degree in music.

 

Diploma of the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition in 2021.

 

Competed in the piano section of the Ron-Thibault International Music Competition in 2022.

 

Finalist in the Dispatch Section of the 5th Chopin International Piano Competition in ASIA. Gold Prize in Group D, Piano Solo Division, 18th Young Artists Piano Competition. Third Prize in the Junior High School Division of the 65th All Japan Student Music Competition in Tokyo. First Prize and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award at the 60th All-Tohoku Piano Competition. Performed in the 44th Geidai Chamber Music Competition.

 

Performed with the Philharmonia Orchestra of the University of the Arts and the Prima Vista String Quartet (Poland), as well as many other concerts including solo recitals at various venues such as Hamarikyu Asahi Hall, Yamaha Hall, and Akasaka Geihinkan. He studied piano under Tetsuro Ishikawa, Shinnosuke Tashiro, and Yuya Tsuda.
