He started playing piano at an early year and trumpet at the age of 8. In 2016, he  graduated at the top of the class (summa cum laude) from the Berklee College of Music's Master of Music program as a first-year student. During his studies, he studied and performed with Tiger Okoshi, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, John Patitucci, Teri Lynn Carrington, and others. While in school, he performed at international jazz festivals in Newport, Monterey, Montreal, Toronto, Dominica, etc. He won the International Trumpet League (ITG) Jazz Competition in 2014 and he was a semi-finalist in the International Thelonious Monk Competition in the same year. In 2015, he received the Nagareyama City “Hometown Creation Merit Award” in Chiba Prefecture in Japan.

After returning to Japan in 2018, he made his major debut with the album “Infinite Creature” (Pony Cañon), followed by “Brightness of the Lives” (Reborn Wood) in 2022. This is his third consecutive year performing at the Blue Note Tokyo, the sacred place of jazz.

In the field of film, he has won numerous awards at film festivals in Japan and abroad, including the Tokyo Short Film Festival for “Trumpet,” for which he was in charge of music production.

In 2023, he released his first solo album “Plays Standards”. As part of his release tour, he toured China with Blue Note, successfully performing four days in Shanghai and Beijing.

As an arranger, he provided arrangements for Danilo Perez's “Jazz 100” performance in 2018, transcribed portions of Wayne Shorter's opera “Iphigenia” in 2019, and arranged some of the music for Teri Lynn Carrington's “Nat King Cole Christmas” performance, for which he was musical director.  He has also worked internationally, including providing music and piano supervision for a Netflix drama series to be released in 2024.
