Profile
Born in 1985. Hometown: Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
Began playing guitar at age 15. As a guitarist known for his versatile string changes, he performs on classical and electric guitars while also working as a composer creating pieces centered on the theme of “new guitar techniques.”
Winner of numerous competitions in both performance and composition, including: - First Prize, 8th Florence International Guitar Composition Competition - Highest Prize, 34th Japan Guitar Competition - Second Prize, 1st East End International Guitar Competition - Selected Entry and Special Prize, 2nd Portugal International Guitar Composition Competition - Third Prize, 5th Barcelona International Guitar Composition Competition “Miguel Llobet”
Released the CDs “ORGANIC MOTIONS” ~ Guitar Works by Tomoyuki Kuru and “Listening to the Wind ~ Guitar Works by Satoshi Tanaka”.
Graduated from Elisabeth University of Music.
Studied guitar under Fuminori Nagano, Masakazu Tokutake, and Norio Sato. Self-taught in composition.
His hobby is road biking.
