Profile

Born in 1993, he was taught flamenco by Kazuko Nitta from an early age. At the age of 19,he went to Spain for the first time to study flamenco under Domingo Ortega, Rafael Campallo, Jesús Carmona, David Perez, Alfonso Losa, and others. After returning to Japan, he studied under Susumu Inada. From September to December 2012, he studied in Madrid. From February to May 2014,Studied in Jerez and Madrid. In December 2014, made his tablao debut at Casa de Esperanza in Koenji.

In August 2015 Awarded the Encouragement Prize in the group dance category at the 24th Newcomer's Performance of the Japan Flamenco Association. From April 2016 to August 2019, he taught flamenco at the community school of Higashino Junior High School in Yokohama.

In February 2017 Performed in the 4th “World Music Travelogue” at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, “The World of Flamenco - A Journey through its History and Modernity”. From October 2017 to March 2018, he taught a flamenco course at Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin University.

 

In December 2017: Winner of the 6th El Sur Foundation Newcomer Award in the flamenco category.

In January 2018, he presented his first stage production “Arte Flamenco” at Hibari Hall in Fuchu City's Central Culture Center. Also choreographed and directed. In March 2018, performed in all two performances of Tomoko Ishii's work “Granada - Lorca” at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Festival 2018, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space Playhouse.

 

From April to July 2018 Studied in Sevilla.

 

September 2018 Performed in “Antrohia del Flamenco vol. 5” organized by El Sur Foundation at Garlochí, Shinjuku.

In March 2019, won the first prize at the CAF Competition organized by the MARUWA Foundation for the Promotion of Spanish Dance.

In March 2019, performed as a dancer in Seiji Ozawa Ongakujyuku Opera Project XVII Bizet: Opera “Carmen”. He had 4 total performances at Rohm Theater Kyoto Main Hall, Yokosuka Arts Theater, and Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Main Hall.

In August 2019, appeared on Fuji Television's “Mezamashi TV: Kirabito! 

From August 2019 to March 2020: Studied at Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza MARIEMMA, a dance school in Madrid.

 

In January 2020: Performed at Taberna Flamenca El Cortijo in Madrid.
