Profile

Born in Venezuela.

After studying pedagogy at the University of the Sacred Heart and Graduate School of Music, she graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in England with honors. She made her debut at the Wigmore Hall in the same year.

 

She has been active in the field of oratorio, performing as soloist at the Mozart Festival in Brussels, the Festival of Religious Music in Florence, and the Messiah in London to commemorate the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and England.

 

She has performed Baroque operas and premiered many contemporary works in Italy, France, and England. In Japan, she has appeared at La Folle Journée and the International Music Festival Nippon.

Her representative piece is “Hymn to Mary of the Atomic Bomb,” composed by his father Eric Colon with a wish for peace.

 

She founded White Hand Chorus in 2017 and continues to teach music to children with audiovisual disabilities as artistic director of White Hand Chorus NIPPON.In August 2021, she performed the world premiere of her opera Super Angels at the New National Theatre, Tokyo. 

 

In the 2019 Tokyo International Vocal Competition, she won both the Grand Prix and Song categories for the first time in history.

 

Her CD “BRIDGE” was released from King Record in May 2020.

Mother of four children.
