From the age of 4, she started playing guitar under her father, Nobuyuki Inoi and she started learning piano and solfège under Keiko Katsuma from the age 6. From 2012, she started studying at Osaka College of Music under Keigo Fujii and Shinichi Fukuda.
In May 2015, her debut album “Black Star” was released from Fontec.
In March 2016, she graduated at the top of her class from Osaka College of Music and received the Grand Prize.
In January 2017, his second album “Moonlight” was released from Fontek. In July 2019, she made her major debut with her 3rd album “MEDUSA” from King Records. Additionally, all of her albums released to date have been selected as Record Geijutsu Special Selections.
She is currently studying under Shinichi Iwasaki and Nobuyuki Masuda, and also teaches herself to younger students.
She has appeared on such programs as “Masterpiece Recital,” “Recital Nova,” and “THE TRAD,” and in 2021 she was invited to perform in the high-definition and high-resolution demo contents of Panasonic's high-end 4K projector and professional display [Into the Harmony - The World Played by Ami Inoi, a New Generation Classical Guitarist”.
She also participated as a guitarist in “Promenade ~Autumn Sunshine~” composed by Matthew Law for the MBS Weather Department's 2021 autumn theme.
In 2023, he performed at the “Guitar LaGanza International Guitar Festival” in the United States.
Her first serial article “Ami Inoi's Guitar's CROSS ROAD” started from the April 2023 issue of “Ongaku no Tomo” magazine.
With more than 90,000 YouTube channel subscribers, she is expanding her activities not only in Japan but also in other countries.
