ギターを猪居信之、藤井敬吾、福田進一、岩崎慎一、益田展行の各氏に師事し、ピアノ、ソルフェージュを勝間恵子氏に師事。
多数の学生・ジュニアコンクールで優勝し、2015年にフォンテックより『Black Star』でデビュー、2019年には3rdアルバム『MEDUSA』でキングレコードよりメジャーデビューを果たす。
2022年、第39回GFA国際ギターコンクールで日本人として35年ぶりとなるファイナリストに選出され、第４位入賞。
これまでにPanasonic ハイエンド4Kプロジェクター・業務用ディスプレイの高画質・高精細デモコンテンツへの出演や、MBSお天気部 2021年秋のテーマ にマシュー・ロー氏作曲「Promenade～秋晴れ～」でギタリストとして参加。
また世界的ギタリストのマーティ・フリードマン氏との共演、「CLASSIC×ROCK」と題したコンサートシリーズの開催、クラシック専門誌「音楽の友」での「猪居亜美のGuitar’ s CROSS ROAD」連載など、ボーダレスな活動を展開し、2024年4月に自身初のロック・カバー・アルバム「My Immortal」をリリース。同年10月には、カウンターテナーの藤木大地氏とともにワシントンD.C.の在アメリカ合衆国日本国大使館に招待され公演を行うなど、国内外で活動の幅を広げている。
現在、YouTube ch登録者数は10万人を超える。

Studied guitar under Nobuyuki Inoi, Keigo Fujii, Shin-ichi Fukuda, Shinichi Iwasaki, and Nobuyuki Masuda, and studied piano and solfège under Keiko Katsuma.

After winning numerous student and junior competitions, made a recording debut in 2015 with the album Black Star released by Fontec, and achieved a major-label debut in 2019 with the third album MEDUSA released by King Records.

In 2022, was selected as a finalist in the 39th GFA International Guitar Competition, becoming the first Japanese finalist in 35 years, and won Fourth Prize.

Has appeared in high-definition demonstration content for Panasonic high-end 4K projectors and professional displays, and participated as guitarist in “Promenade – Autumn Clear Sky,” composed by Matthew Law, the theme song for the MBS Weather Department in autumn 2021.

Also engages in borderless musical activities, including collaborations with world-renowned guitarist Marty Friedman, organizing the concert series titled CLASSIC×ROCK, and contributing the serialized column “Ami Inoi’s Guitar’s CROSS ROAD” to the classical music magazine Ongaku no Tomo. In April 2024, released the first rock cover album, My Immortal.

In October of the same year, was invited to perform at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C. together with countertenor Daichi Fujiki, further expanding activities both in Japan and internationally.

Currently, the YouTube channel has surpassed 100,000 subscribers.
