山下順一朗・山下宗一郎

4人きょうだいの双子の兄の「兄ーズ」。難病で重症心身障がい児の弟の影響から医師を目指し、2025年3月に2人揃って医学部現役合格。現在医大生ピアニストとして活動している。

2歳から絶対音感トレーニングを経て4歳よりクラシックピアノを本格的に開始。今までに大阪国際音楽コンクール連弾部門優勝、ピティナ・ピアノコンペティション10部門で全国決勝大会に出場し、銀賞・銅賞など多数受賞。ショパンコンクール・インアジアにてアジア大会ファイナリスト、全日本学生音楽コンクールピアノ中学生部門東京大会入選などの成績を残す。小学生の頃より病院や児童発達支援センター、療育センター、保育園などでのボランティア演奏活動を実施しており、今までにコンクール成績と合わせ東京都教育委員会児童・生徒等表彰に2年連続選出された他、一般財団法人東京私立中学高等学校協会、東京都高等学校文化連盟より表彰される。2023年度ソニー音楽財団子ども音楽基金の採択団体に選出され、医療的ケアのある重症心身障がいをもつ子どもたちとそのご家族、約1,700人にピアノの生演奏を届けた。現在ピアノを高田有莉子氏、フィンガートレーニングを山本光世氏に師事。海外では2023年にドイツハンブルグ市近郊のレリンゲンMay Festivalにて、2024年にはアメリカのカーネギーホールにて招聘演奏を行い、スタンディングオベーションを含み大盛況をおさめた。 

2024年MBSお天気部夏のテーマ曲「空」を担当。

Junichiro Yamashita & Soichiro Yamashita

Known as the twin-brother duo “Ani-zu” (“The Brothers”) among four siblings, they were inspired to pursue careers in medicine by their younger brother, who lives with a severe illness and profound physical and intellectual disabilities. In March 2025, both twins were admitted directly into medical school. They are currently active as pianist medical students.

After beginning absolute pitch training at the age of two, they started studying classical piano in earnest at age four. To date, they have won First Prize in the piano duo division of the Osaka International Music Competition and have advanced to the national finals in ten divisions of the PTNA Piano Competition, receiving numerous awards including Silver and Bronze Prizes. They were also finalists in the Asia Competition of the Chopin Competition in Asia and received recognition in the Tokyo Competition of the All Japan Student Music Competition for junior high school piano division.

Since elementary school, they have been actively engaged in volunteer performances at hospitals, child development support centers, rehabilitation facilities, and nursery schools. In recognition of both their competition achievements and social contributions, they were selected for the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education Student Achievement Awards for two consecutive years, and were also honored by the Tokyo Private Junior & Senior High School Association and the Tokyo High School Cultural Federation.

In 2023, they were selected as recipients of the Sony Music Foundation Children’s Music Fund, through which they delivered live piano performances to approximately 1,700 children with severe physical and intellectual disabilities requiring medical care, as well as their families.

They currently study piano under Yuriko Takada and finger training under Mitsuyo Yamamoto.

Internationally, they were invited to perform at the May Festival in Rellingen near Hamburg, Germany in 2023, and at Carnegie Hall in the United States in 2024, where their performances were met with tremendous acclaim, including standing ovations.

In 2024, they were also in charge of the summer theme song “Sora” for the MBS Weather Department
